We introduced Maddy to some mush today and I don't think she liked it...

4 months old!

Maddy had her four month check up today. She got her shots ouch... Mom can't stop laughing when she gets the shots because it's just so sad but funny at the same time how sad she gets. Here is what we found out....Maddy has a humongous head! She is in the 100% for head size, her weight is in the 73% at 15 lbs 8 oz and her length is 26 inches which is 95%. So my friend has a baby who is nine months old and is 26 inches long and is in the 5% of height. It's fun to compare the two cuz Maddy is so tall and her baby is short and cute. They wear the same size of pants! 

Cookies!

So my cousin Emma posted a blog about her valentine sugar cookies and I got a craving to make some. I got her recipe and made some, Texas style. They were delish! 

Dallas Temple Trip

I went to the Temple with the youth in the ward. It was fun to finally see the Temple ( yes Reece and I are terrible and have not made the trip yet). I wish it was closer because it took all day. 

Reece and Maddy had fun without me shopping and mom had fun doing something different without Maddy:) even though I missed them lots!

I sure missed Reece a lot while he was gone, I am grateful for these fun people who kept me sane and entertained while he was gone:)

Since we have been behind on updating our blog I wanted to post some pictures of Madalyn when she was born.

I love to look back at pictures of Maddy when she was a new born. She was so little and is growing so fast!

Cutie patootie!

Isn't Maddy so cute in her girly dress? So today I put her down in her jungle play thing while I showered. When I came back she was facing a completely different direction then where I put her. Don't know how that happened? She is just getting so big. 

I also found that when I put a bow on her and leave for a minute I usually come back to her like this....

Growing out the beard a bit

So my goal is to not trim my beard until at least match day, march 21, which would be a record for me. .....maybe I'll go till graduation-May 7- or Longer?  

Here we are today...... 

Caity is ok with it, we will see what the rest of my family thinks. Not that anyone of them will see me until graduation....

We don't have a whole lot happening lately so we thought we would just post some recent pictures of our cute little girl. She is starting to use her hands more now and almost able to put her own binki in her mouth, doesn't quite know how to control her hands yet. We are starting to have her sleep in her big girl crib now in her own room! It has been nice having her in her rock n play sleeper because she slept all night in that thing but she is out growing it and we are excited to not have to listen to her snore...it is pretty cute though:)

Maddy in her rock n play. We get to wake up to this cute smiley face! Every morning she wakes up smiling and laughing...never crying. What a perfect baby!

Olympics

We do double duty here in our house....tummy time and Olympic time. 

When Maddy got to tired, I put her on my lap, but it turns out she still wanted to watch the ice skating!

Visitors from Washington!

This past weekend we had some surprise visitors from Washington. It was a lot of fun! 

We went to Salado an did some shopping, as well as eating out at Olive Garden and having German chocolate cake for grandma Baker's birthday! 

Madalyn was so excited to see both of them!
