One Great Year

Well it is official. I have just had the best year of my life so far. Why? Because one year ago today Caity and I met! :)

It was at a ward prayer and I was about ready to go back to my apartment when her roommate brought her up to me and introduced me to her! I was immediately impressed by how beautiful she was. We were able to talk lots and hang out alot that night, and well now we are married and living in Texas! Woohoo!

It really has been the best year ever.....

This is one of earliest pictures we have of us together. We went to the shooting range in Provo and did a little skeet shooting. Caity is really good and hit several!

Caity was able to come up to Washington for a week or so after Christmas, and I was so excited to see her that I almost proposed to her the first night she got there...instead I just mentioned the idea of us getting married. She seemed to like it.

We think so much alike that we got each other almost the exact same present for valentines day!

This is one of our engagement photos...didn't I find the prettiest girl ever!? I am so lucky!

Here we are on our wedding day...the best day of the best year!

And finally here we are in Texas. We have moved around a lot the past little while, but we are loving it! Best year EVER!!! So happy one-year-since-we-met anniversary! Wooohoooo!

Houston!

This weekend we went to the Galleria mall in Houston. It is the biggest mall we have ever seen! The mall had an ice skating rink in the middle of it and every store you can think of. There was a really fun candy store that we loved but the mall cop on his segway stopped me from taking any pictures! Reece's favorite store was the Lego store of course. Too bad they didn't have this store when he was a kid! It took us five hours just to walk around the mall without even doing a lot of shopping, but we loved it! Outside of the mall the is an place called the Water Wall. It was definitely worth seeing and also cooled us off! After we stopped at a mediocre antique mall and some more shopping at the outlet mall. Reece got some coins and I got some super cute shoes!

The only thing they let you take a picture of in the candy store...the least coolest thing in the store.

Our Apartment!

Our moving truck finally moved and we have our stuff!!! No more air mattress and camp chairs. It took us a lot longer than we thought to unpack and organize but luckily we found a spot for everything in our tiny apartment. There will be more decorating improvements in the future but for now we are happy with what we have:) Thanks Aunt Janet for the chairs we love them. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Weed for the cabinet, it helped us so much for extra storage and actually gave us a drawer for our silverware! Thanks mom for all the extra furniture and especially the dresser...we were worried it wouldn't fit in our room..our bed barely fits in our room! Thanks Krystal for the couches...the movers say thanks too..they were a light lift. Thanks Katrina for the great quilt, it adds a lot of color to the room:) Oh and thanks everyone for all the wedding presents we have everything we need for our first little apartment!

Week One in Texas

So basically Reece and I are enjoying College Station a lot! We still do not have our stuff yet from the moving truck but we are having fun camping out in our apartment. We have camping chairs to watch TV and an air mattress...not bad at all! Saturday we got to go to the white coat ceremony where Reece got his snazzy med school coat. We thought we had charged the camera before we left but right as Reece got on stage I took a picture and then it died!!! But at least a got one good one of Reece getting his jacket. After, we celebrated at our new favorite restaurant so far called On the Border...yummy Mexican food! We had heard that the George Bush library at A&M was cool so we checked it out later that day. It was really fun...and long! Our favorite part was the presidential limo. We have noticed that Texas loves George Bush. They have a lot of things named after him. We have also noticed they have a lot of Sonics and Diet Dr Pepper in every restaurant! I think we will adjust just fine:)
